We had a bit of an audio problem with our clip yesterday. Apparently it was only enjoyable by your left ears... Apologies and here it is, reuploaded complete with the end, and in stereo!

Jazz up your morning and enjoy a coffee break with the LSO Percussion Ensemble. Our final Coffee Session is the 3rd mvt of Gwilym Simcock's Suite, recorded a month ago during our Summer Shorts series at LSO St Luke's. Grateful thanks to 🍮

It remains to be seen whether this latest consideration of tighter socialising rules will let it go ahead though... 🥴

We're closely involved with the DCMS and the roadmap for getting musicians and other art forms back to work. Much lobbying behind the scenes.

This is true, and there are worrying local rises in cases. Let's hope a second lockdown is not on its way.

Indeed, our own musicians are freelance and many did not qualify for government support. We continue to work closely with the DCMS on getting the arts back to work. It's great to be working together with the hospitality industry, also very hard hit.
