If you're on Windows or Mac, download the installer and install it. Go to some current project of yours, create a fresh virtualenv using Python 3.8.4rc1, `pip install` (or `poetry install`) your project. Run tests, see if everything works and looks sensible.

One big milestone Python 3.8 still has to overcome is the transition of the homebrew community. It’s been very slow, and unfortunately has a bit of a learning curve so it’s not so easy to contribute
