Q4 involve pts in the discussion.QI often involves mapping patient journey,get them in the room to identify the barriers. Present your work to patient groups.This month will be presenting to our patient group our results from & getting their input with our solutions

A3 train clinicians in QI methodology, trainees have much better knowledge than consultants. Share our work & learning eg present at conferences, stop us keep reinventing the wheel!

A2 -we can over complicate QI. Often the simple solutions are the best, or break down things down into smaller projects that are easier to implement -QI doesn’t get as much focus as research at conferences -poor understanding of QI methodology
