Judging the Scotch Egg Challenge with ⁦⁩ back in 2018... I think we should be called for tier-dining adjudication

I think the initial point (so to speak) was about a full stop being less appropriate than an exclamation mark (we had a different NSFW term for them at the Indie)... I wanted to say on that subject that so much communication is written now that nuance is lost (ie no irony font)

Proud to be a judge for the annual list of 30 under 30 rising stars in our restaurants, hotels, pubs and bars... this industry is amazing and whatever the current clusterf***ery, it will endure with these talented young'uns

Absolutely no interest in that (maybe I'm the only one). My dream is a bedroom with nothing in it at all apart from a bed and a bedside table with a reading light on it. Utter detachment from all else other than reading and rest.

Well, as I listened to the sound of the teacher's metal spoon scraping it into the bin, I thought 'maybe it was a mistake to try and roll it up when it was still warm'... but equally, it was probably just the general wrongness of a hack trying to be a cook

the only time my Leiths teacher refused to even try my cooking was when I made swiss roll. I didn't know just how appalling it could be when made by me 😂

The greatest day of my life was when my husband squeezed a washer, dryer and airing cupboard set-up into one end of the bathroom upstairs. NO MORE carrying baskets up and down

I'm on talking about restaurant meal kits/deliveries with Alexis after 3pm today. What's worth ordering? Whose packaging is best? Do you need a sous chef to make it work?... and more

Not presuming you need our help, it is an ace box, but always interesting to see who's up and reading/ordering x

I am interested in the ROI too - I try to keep an eye on response to things I feature in to see if there's a noticeable uptick. And sorry for being annoying, will pay my penance in book form x

This is a wonderful read, not just for elegantly put thoughts on delivery food, but also for her panoply of moods

Also, I have advised PRs to send them out to people on different days/weeks as I can't see the benefit of a dozen people all posting at the exact same time since their followers must overlap considerably and it looks annoying (ie for you)

Been thinking about your comment. I know what you mean - but I do try them for possible inclusion, say no to the ones I don't think will be suitable, give private feedback if it's not good and donate to a charity for each one.
