Anticipating snow and cold temperatures, the City will open a severe weather shelter for adults (all genders) Sun night, Jan 12 thru Sun night, Jan 19 at Seattle Center Exhibition Hall – 301 Mercer St – Seattle, 98109. The shelter will be open 8pm-7am.

A reminder that there's also an enforcement element to removing snow/ice from sidewalks: SDOT inspectors will focus sidewalk clearing enforcement on commercial property owners or occupants on streets within urban centers and villages, then arterial streets on transit lines.
