It’s not about starting with the most expensive thing or the most luxurious thing. It’s about starting where you are, and getting the best thing you can wherever that is. Even the smallest details matter when it comes to underwear.

When I talk about buying quality undergarments, I always mean the *best quality you can afford.* Even if you’re buying underwear for $1/pair, you can still choose a softer fabric over a stiffer fabric or a more comfy waistband over a less comfy one.

I talk about handwashing lingerie in my book. I (and most corsetieres) don’t recommend handwashing a corset, but if you really want to, Lucy is your best resource.

As always, the inspiration for the "Lovesick" collection is vintage lingerie. The muted pink silk gives a soft, lush vibe, and I especially love the floor-length robe, a wonderfully extravagant new design which is the standout piece of this collection.

Your lingerie - even the most basic pieces - should be something you treasure and take care. And this article from the TLA archives shows you how.

I’m tempted to block a couple of people. Literally every comment is an attempt to start a fight, usually while being super wrong, and I’m just like...why are you here?

Marks & Spencer definitely carries microfiber undies and undies with nylon made to have cooling properties? I’m not even halfway down the first page for the UK site and I see them.

If a relatively tiny indie like Playful Promises can dramatically expanding their sizing, well, I start to wonder what's stopping some of these bigger brands...like a certain one with the initials V.S.

I don't understand people who like a Facebook page to complain about every post. Like...clearly you're not happy seeing what's here, so why are you still here?
