What are your favorite Patreons right now? Bonus points if they’re run by Queer WOC and/or focus on fashion, film, history, or sexuality.

I should have kept this skirt. Pretty sure I gave it away when we moved to NY.

Just posted a few of the styles/colors I’m looking forward to from Dita Von Teese Lingerie A/W 2019 over on Patreon (using the Lens feature). Here’s a little taste with their ‘Bijoux’ style in Black/Chartreuse.

Why do research when you could just believe any old thing a brand’s PR tells you?

(Also was this line the first ever EVER to offer these types of products? Probably not. But lingerie history is extremely fuzzy and ill-kept, especially when it comes to LGBTQ folks and sex workers.)

Literally all I had to do was search “first trans lingerie line” and this article by came up on the first page. Please stop just reprinting press releases.

The way people treated Chrysalis was absolutely appaling, by the way. The designer behind the brand (who was a WOC + trans herself) was left traumatized, and I lost a lot of respect for a lot of folks for how they did her. We discussed the aftermath here:

Please fact check any claims anyone is making about being “the first” to do anything in fashion. It is 2019. We’ve been wearing clothes for awhile.
