We need to stop putting ‘exercise’ into a box. Movement is exercise. Shimmying on a dance floor on a Saturday night is exercise. Nipping to the shops to get some milk because you’ve run out is exercise. Shimmy on my friends 💃🏻

That said, it is great to see a trial which has actually measured baseline diet, as few do. It is also a long-term study, which is also relatively rare and great to see. If you read my feature, I hope the message you’ll take from it is that more studies like this need to be done.

This hadn’t been published when my feature was written, and please note the overall conclusion of the NEJM paper: CONCLUSIONS Supplementation with n−3 fatty acids did not result in a lower incidence of major cardiovascular events or cancer

Any other good book club suggestions? Ideally nothing too depressing, as we’ve had a lot of that of late 😝

I’m going to note this as a book club read. Might stand a chance of actually getting through some short stories, unlike A Little Life, which is outrageously long!
