To elaborate further, the assumption part is exactly the ODD. I believe ODD specification is the hardest part of making an autonomous car.

Advocating for travel advances seems very non controversial and something even junior faculty can do. Re adjunct situation, my understanding is demand exists partially because many tenure track faculty (at all levels) don't teach a full course load due to external obligations?
