looking at our covid stats on bbc case checker v council website and there seems to be quite a discrepancy (eg w/e 23rd, bbc has us having approx 600 more cases therefore higher rate per 100,000). Do you know why? Thx in advance.

There are two types of people in the world: 1) People who look at Marcus Rashford's timeline & feel a combination of warmth, concern & gratitude. 2) People who look at Marcus Rashford's timeline & feel compelled to sneer about 'virtue signalling'. We're governed by the latter.

We will be preparing 100 meals a day at each of our sites to provide healthy meals to the children in our communities in response to the governments refusal to provide free school meals during the half term!

This is deplorable. Every one of those 322 MPs should feel utterly ashamed of themselves.

The world can't wait because doesn't. Please help people in Canada and the rest of the world who are literally dying for access. Make the drugs affordable - they don't work if people can't take them

There actually seems to be very little difference between tier 2 and tier 3 unless you frequent the pub or casinos and have people in your garden. You can still go out, still see people outdoors (e.g. parks) under rule of six, and can definitely still attend hospital appts x

Thanks for the response. It would be good to know as it seems that, even with decreasing numbers in certain areas, further restrictions are still being imposed. Hopefully we can get the numbers down as soon as possible.

as we move into Tier 3, whilst high, Doncaster nos are lower than the rest of the region. If we can move out when nos decrease, what sort of decrease are we looking at?

I have so much respect for how Andy Burnham has stood up for Manchester, and will no doubt continue to do so. I can only hope that those in charge of South Yorkshire do the same as talks about raising the alert level here go ahead.
