I wish I could use the Reachability gesture on iPhone X for control center.

I wonder why they removed it? I use that feature daily on my 7.

Why can’t you? It isn’t removed. Just off by default now. It’s under Settings > General > Accesibility

I want to use the same gesture, but have it trigger control center

Oh. I see. Yes, that would be a good option. Might be easy to accidentally trigger, but for a non-default opt it’d be good.

As someone who disabled reachability and uses control center all the time, that’s brilliant. Aside: how do you access CC in landscape?

You can use Reachability to make it easier to invoke control center… unless you mean to use Reachability within control center?

I just want the swipe down gesture to trigger Control Center.

They didn’t remove reachability. I think he’s saying he’d like the trigger for reachability to trigger control center instead.

As a leftie, all I want is to have the left ear trigger the control center. Seems like an obvious accessibility feature.

Every generation of iOS and iPhone seem to make it harder to control music playback in the background. RIP iPod.

You can use the Assistive Touch button to just trigger Control Center and put it at 15% down there.

I wish I could reliably invoke Reachability to do what it’s designed to.

Sound like you’re asking for down swipe to invoke CC, but you can do Reachability then a low swipe down for CC (invoke target drops down).

Yes! The only reason I use Reachability is to make getting to control center easier
