Think you’re in the clear for the dangers of drowning because you don’t have toddlers? Wrong. Drowning risks spike again in teens, in natural waters. Wear a life jacket. Everyone. Period.

Drowning is the #1 cause of death for kids. Please take action: toss out the puddle jumper & enroll your child in survival swim lessons.

🚨 Parents of teens! Did you know that teen boys are the group that is the second highest at risk for drowning, after toddlers? Did you know it is most likely to happen in natural waters? Know your limits. Wear a life jacket.

Most don’t know that literally about the time our teenagers are shedding their life vests, their drowning rates are spiking. Protect your bigs.

As littles become bigs, your water safety job isn’t over. Lakes aren’t like pools...they’re deep/murky. Drownings triple for teens in lakes & it’s mostly “good swimmers” who drown. We protect littles in pools. Let’s protect bigs in lakes. That protection? It’s called a life vest.

“He was a 3 year old boy. Drowning was the #1 thing that could have taken him from me...and it did.” Thank you for sharing Levi’s story to inform parents of how quickly a toddler can drown, specifically during NON-swim times.
