your usage of macOS has also involved reading kernel source to figure out how to configure sleep/not when the lid closes... fantastic OS, not documenting that parameter

hm, that seems to require the cooperation of the target though? Assuming you don't have a cooperative target kernel/firmware with a debugger built in/it broke and you want to single step it on AMD, is that even possible?
