Only 292,316 people voted for the DUP & they are effectively propping up this disastrous, incompetent Tory Govt

I looked Theresa May in the eyes today across the chamber and I was stunned. She was emotionless. Her government has been found in contempt of parliament and now she has lost a vote by the largest margin by any government in history. Why didn't she resign?

Thank God we didn’t elect Ed eh? Imagine the chaos we’d have compared the strong & stable government we have currently 🙄

A General Election is now the way to reflect what the People's Vote want going forward. As for the prime minister, resignation would be the normal convention in such circumstances.

The scale of this defeat is truly astonishing. As I've said, the normal convention would be for the PM to resign and for a real people's vote to take place. A GE now is the only way for the electorate to voice their verdict on what has become a national tragedy for our nation.

In just a couple of years the Tories have managed to produce two of the worst PMs for years. And that's just about all they have achieved.

A crushing defeat for May and the Tories - and I know what one of those looks like being an Everton fan!

Jeremy Corbyn is absolutely right to call a motion of no confidence in Theresa May. We need a General Election to get us out of this chaos. Time for a Labour Government!

After hearing some people say a young woman who died in a tent in Liverpool this week was beyond help, I've been to the place where she was found - we should not be judging anyone living in circumstances like this, we should be asking why

In 2005, Cameron declared it a disgrace that ONE single mother had taken a food parcel off the Salvation Army under a Labour government. ONE. Today, in 2019, the number of uses of Trussell Trust food banks has increased to 1.2 million. Tell me it's not the Tories responsible?

10 years ago if you'd have told me we'd be one of the richest countries in the world but more people would be dying on the streets, many families would be reliant on food banks & we'd have a Minister for Hunger I wouldn't have believed you The Tories have blood on their hands

Today’s Echo article is purely speculative but who wouldn’t want to help the best city in the world and help build on the giant strides we’ve made in recent years. I love Liverpool ♥️

Phillip, when you have addiction/dependency and or mental health issues (and this may not be the case here) it is difficult for those people to accept or want help, because of their problems and it’s only by accepting and understanding this we can help.
