Before you reply to someone’s silly tweet, ask yourself, “Am I being no fun?”

Ha! I want to point out that I retweeted this before I saw you linked my article. :) I only had to get halfway in before I knew it had to be shared. Ping me in DMs if you want a slightly hacky but effective and useful (free!) way to get this more engagement.

So if you're wondering what one of my rants would be like if I had say... 5000 characters instead of 280, then this is for you. Who needs therapy? Not me. 😜

Please help share our survey. We are committed to getting helpful data on workplace changes since Covid-19. We have an intersectional approach and are asking for more BIPOC tech employees to take it. Please share with others who may have missed it. Thanks!

By implementation details I don't mean interface details. I mean things like admin tools and customer service processes and tech details and rollout stuff etc.

I agree with this very strongly. I have also noticed that very few designers seem to pay any attention to any implementation details at all. I think these things are related although obviously they are not exactly the same.

just found out you can get special scarves for dogs that calm them in stressful situations but nowhere does it mention that it also makes them look like melancholic eastern European widows and I feel like that should be a bigger selling point

This is a bit of a paradox, because what you’re asking is “what if a fundamentally corrupt and incompetent administration suddenly weren’t corrupt or incompetent?” In order to address the pandemic well, they would have had to be entirely different people.
