Dear Professor, I was your student in 1965. I owe you a paper on ethical relativism. I would like to send you a book I wrote in hopes of paying you a great and long overdue debt. Deep respect, Larry Brilliant

Amen, brother. Irene directed the Oscar nominated “The Final Inch” about polio eradication and “Open Your Eyes” about blindness and now “moonlight sonata” masterpiece about familial deafness. We all love this amazing and her wonderful work!!!

It's hard to overstate how important finding a better diagnostic is for fighting . That’s why I’m investing in new ideas for easier and more accurate diagnosis of the disease.

We know climate change has increased risk of many human diseases, for example increasing geographic spread of diseases spread by mosquitoes or ticks. This however is new: a potentially deadly fungus catalyzed by global warming. No time to wait.

Susie has a doctorate in religious studies. I love the way she puts the important theological shit (like kids in cases) at the top of the priority list. :)

By 2030, India will lose 5.8% of its working hours because it will be too hot to labor outside--that's the equivalent of 34 million jobs. Climate chaos crushes those who did the least to cause it.

Very happy about Prop C. Look—no single purpose interventions may “solve” the homelessness “problem” but let’s not make the “perfect” the standard by which we judge what is good and right. My heart breaks when I see anyone curled up on the sidewalk. We must do better! A start..

Hello Noel!!! Nice to see your name. How are you? As for the OEHO investigations we were doing in 1967 I think the person was a medical student from Montana or Wyoming. Is that who you are referring to?
