I only have questions, but I do feel like it should be at least as hard to possess a gun as to get a driver's license.

It's also just a much more compelling game. It's one of only 2 JRPGs I've cleared. PD1 is a pretty good rail shooter for its time; Zwei is a very good rail shooter independent of its time, but it's still "just" a rail shooter, while Saga is a saga. Color-changing dragoons 'n all.

I probably will if I get a Switch, but what I'm saying is I don't think interest in PD1 and/or 2 is a fair gauge of interest in Saga. 1 and 2 belong on the Saturn, Saga is a prisoner to it, imo.

To say nothing of Saga's astronomical price tag.

Panzer Dragoon remake is cool, but a Panzer Dragoon Saga remake would be 1000000x more warranted. Tbh I don't think the first game is that compelling when removed from its lo-fi Saturn context, while PDS feels like it's *stuck* on the Saturn and would benefit from a reworking.

Gotcha, but I think the spirit of her question was, "Should cell phones be banned outright because their misuse is dangerous?" The point being that we prohibit misuse, not possession. This is a semi-valid point gun control advocates should try to address.

Yes, also Stephen King and Kevin Sorbo, I now notice.😅 But mainly re: "cell phones while driving should be banned." That doesn't address the fact that hostile acts with guns are already illegal. Also, uh, Mr. King I really like your book On Writing. Sorry I used "the fact that."

Annette already raised the valid counterpoint that shooting people is already illegal. I think you have to look at the overall societal benefit to cars and cell phones versus that of guns though. And also yeah, access to cars and even cell phones is already better regulated.

I would like to play the version of Ecco the Dolphin that has checkpoints. (Checco the Dolphpoint)

Yeah, but they put out two of the best games (ever?) in Q1, not too shabby! If they just put out one banger every January-March and keep curating their legacy stuff I'd be pretty happy.

Unfortunately I already spent the time before I tweeted it, but the first dungeon was still a little dangerous! The FAQ had me buying weapons AND grinding. It said to be level 7 before even trying the first dungeon.

But what's the takeaway from that? The law can't regulate people's hatefulness. It can regulate their access to dangerous weapons, as it already does with, say, bazookas.

"Deep down, I know there's good in you!" I wrote about my recent Stockholm Syndromey experience with Ecco the Dolphin.

Meaning if you saved in the dungeon, you had to start the entire game over.

Soul Reaver 2 shipped with this bug where you couldn't exit a dungeon if, hours earlier outside the dungeon, you disturbed some perched birds.

Wait, isn't that essentially what Misato is saying in that screencap?
