I am hearing that there may be phone delays as a result at some shelters. Please know we need and want your help even if we can’t answer right away. Things seem quieter today (so far). The risks are likely to increase Sunday and Monday as the winds return.

To honor veterans & commemorate Veteran's Day, we'll be reducing adoption fees Fri-Sun (11/9-11/11). Dogs, cats, puppies & kittens will be free for military. We'll be waiving dog/cat fees & offering half off puppy/kitten fees for all. Visit for more info🐾

To honor our US Veterans and to commemorate Veteran's Day, LA Animal Services will be reducing adoption fees starting this Friday through Sunday (11/9 to 11/11). Adoption fees on dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will be waived for military (must show proof of service).

Dorothy () is a special dog ❤️ Her foster is a veterinarian & found out that Dorothy had cancer. She volunteered to provide treatment for her for no cost! She removed her mass & will now gladly offer follow up medical care to the person who adopts this loving gal.
