Heavy rainfall will move into the Tennessee Valley today. Some areas could see up to 4" over the next 48 hrs. As the rain moves in, lake and river levels will rise. Releases from the tributary dams are being reduced to store water. Video: Fort Loudoun Dam on the Tenn. River.

at 4 feet above summer pool and rising. Some ramps are closed or have limited access. Ramps at Stoney Cove, Scott Creek and Alfrey are currently open. Partial lane closure at KY 801 South near Lakeview Vista overlook due to mud slide. Paragon Road closed at KY 519.

Several gravel roads closed in due to wet conditions, These include Indian Creek, Rock Bridge & Chimney Top. Tunnel Ridge Road closed beyond Gray's Arch. Sky Bridge Road open. You can walk past the gates unless otherwise posted.

Today's counts: 19,107 , 20,200 WF , 150 Snow geese, 280 Canada geese, 128 swans. Most shallows frozen. Large numbers of snow geese not included in the morning counts fly in during the afternoon to roost.
