so the big bang theory has deliberately been as apolitical as it gets, and i feel pretty sure this is an accident but after a long established note that one character doesn't want to ever have kids, it feels like ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT to end the series by making her be pregnant?

when I say that I feel sure this is an accident, what I mean is that it seems likely to have been written with no reference to current events re: abortion laws. it's clearly not an accident as far as how they decided to find an ending for that character.

I’m with you 100% but honestly, mainstream American TV is just awful about child-free women so I would have been absolutely shocked if the opposite had been the case. They don’t care about the climate, having a child-free happy ending would be way more offensive to their audience

I was not offended. 1 it's a TV show. And 2 it wrapped the our kids will be smart and beautiful.....from the pilot very nicely.

Ma’am, while a young college student, I’d tell friends 2 things. First, I’d rather be single than wish I was & when asked, said I had no desire to have kids. Then, at age 29, I met an incredible guy & we married < a year after we started dating. Suddenly I wanted to be a Mom!!!

Well the writers did have another ending. Upon learning of her pregnancy she breaks down in tears. Shes in Alabama, so she repeatedly shoves a wire hanger into her vagina. As the credits roll, she lays dying, bleeding out on the bathroom floor of a Chick-fil-a. Like that one?
