😫 I could never go through w it bc after not eating it for so long, I feel like death when I have it (last time it was 48 hrs of sick and a bottle of pepto to survive). They did blood test for the celiac gene. I don’t carry it, so there’s only a 10% chance I have it. Good luck!

Slept in this morning and sitting here reading before getting ready to prep Owen’s birthday party. In gretchenrubin talks about getting more serious about play by revisiting the things she loved…

I think I sent you mine before but if you need it let me know, bc it was like this! I focused on “telling a story” and if I’m honest I channeled Taylor Swift writing “Speak Now” and I constantly thought about how I’d want an album to come together if my dissertation was an album!

I don’t know what your hard thing is today. 📝 I don’t know what your version of a run 🏃‍♀️ while singing 🎤 mostly off-key to is but whatever your version of that is, do it. You got this!

Adam gives his heart and soul to some very important work under some pretty incredible challenges. If you can give, give, if you can read, read, and if you can share, share. All of it helps his family and his cause.

Stories are the pulsing lifeblood of medicine. Every patient essentially presents with a story. “Once upon a time I was better, and then...” Even if they can’t tell their own story, it’s there, waiting to be heard. And every story is littered with clues and insights. 1/
