You need not worry about your worries. Just be. Don’t be restless about ‘being quiet’, miserable about ‘being happy’. Just be aware that you are and remain aware - don’t say: “Yes I am; what’s next?” There is no 'next’ in 'I am’. It is a timeless state. Nisargadatta Maharaj

Perception is how we see Life. If I can perceive something different from you- who's view is "right"? If we don't understand the fallacy of perception- then we are lost within it. If "I" don't perceive myself as an "individual" but you do- who is right? "Don't know" is True.

"Watch your mind, how it comes into being, how it operates. As you watch your mind, you discover yourself as the watcher. When you stand motionless, only watching, you discover your self as the light behind the watcher." Nisargadatta (I am that, ch.42)

Whoever you perceive as your teacher, the awareness and clarity you feel in them is just a reflection of your own awareness and clarity. Teachers are mirrors, not magicians.

When you wake up in the morning, notice the moment that you realise that you are, you think something like "I am here and I am no longer asleep". Note that you already were you before you had this thought. Disregard all other thoughts and observe "I am", this is the key.

Thoughts distort reality creating illusion. In the silence without thoughts, reality shines. But one cannot make the restless mind quiet, therefore you have to go beyond the mind. Focus on "I am" persistently, and you will find silence and so reality.

You think you are smart when you overthink, but smart people don’t overthink. They think clearly, right, and only when needed.

There are only problems when your ego is active, when your personal 'I' is active. Then you believe you got a problem. This is why you have to work on yourself everyday. You have to awaken to your true nature. Robert Adams

You have to put first in your life, understanding your true nature. You are not your body. You are not your mind. You are not the world. You are not your ego. Who are you? Find out. And then see if you've got a problem. Robert Adams

"Desirelessness comes on its own when desire is recognised as false. You need not struggle with desire. Ultimately, it is an urge to happiness, which is natural as long as there is sorrow. Only see that there is no happiness in what you desire." Nisargadatta (I am that, ch.88)

"Looking for causes and results is but the pastime of the mind. What is, is lovable. Love is not a result, it is the very ground of being. Wherever you go, you will find being, consciousness and love. Why and what for make preferences?" Nisargadatta (I am that, ch.41)
