Our goal is to be hardware agnostic as possible, and support as much as what people have. We’d even consider a Wizen app, if Samsung would open their APIs so our app could work on it. We will never sell hardware. Others do it much better than we ever could.

& : I see you fretting over Roku profit-sharing. Why not develop an app for ? They won't ask for a cut. (Also, there’s no reason to block Linux)

Tizen has to allow hardware access to decoders instead of crappy HTML5 apps before any work can even be considered.

Want to control devices when using when you play, pause, resume or stop a show. Try my kodi addon and control anything supported by IFTTT. I developed it to dim my lights but works with anything supported by IFTTT webhook.

If you are good in C++, here is an interesting feature for you to work on: Bring in support for complex script rendering in . and for a little bit of context.

Probably the Pi Zero as far as ‘new hardware pricing’ goes. But Kodi will run on most discarded hardware too. Just how well is the question, based on what you want to playback

As optimized as we can get them, using cache, etc. Kodi is over 10 million lines of code and we build for 15+ platforms (different arch/etc) and we don’t build on ‘change’ we only build nightlies and when someone requests it manually (a PR build, etc)

1. We don’t supply any metadata 2. The Crew is a piracy add-on we have nothing to do with, do not condone, support or any part of 3. Based on both of those, we couldn’t even tell you where that is coming from, but we hope it gets removed quickly.
