Warren Kinsella
Joan Bryden, holding out Mulroney as a politician to emulate. There’s a first time for everything, I guess.
The former Progressive Conservative leader proudly recounts in his book how he ordered Campbell, then his attorney general, to refer a controversial murder case to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Can i receive hundreds of thousands of dollars in payments, put in a safe and not tell the CRA about it. Then get a lawyer to say it was a mistake, sorry here is some money for taxes. I really did mean to pay taxes on it trust me. Ya about right.

Interesting person to emulate. I thought Mulroney confirmed that he had personally accepted cash in the Airbus affair?

In an interview w CBC's Amanda Lang, Oct 2012, BM warned against "underestimating JT's political capabilities", ref 2 him as 'talented & a fine young man, cap of deliv a maj political surprise if underest". One could now wonder if JT has lived up to BM's generosity of judgment.
