Odd feeling when you to see "deprecated for removal" phrase in various Java docs if you come with Kotlin background. In Kotlin if something is deprecated, it is a synonym for "it will be removed".

Whenever I see tourists walking up and down our main campus, I figure they misunderstood when someone told them to search Google.

If you're ever unsure that the talk you're going to give will draw in a crowd, update your title to include several keywords, i.e. "Where's my free lunch?" to "Scaling while minimising costs of food deployment using serverless technologies"

Want a free question to ask on the Reddit AMA next week? This is it: how do you reconcile a language and bytecode whose development has kickstarted into high gear with a platform that ships at half the rate. And if you think the answer is Kotlin you haven't been paying attention.

You want to know something about how bullshit insane our brains are? OK, so there's a physical problem with our eyes: We move them in short fast bursts called "saccades", right? very quick, synchronized movements. The only problem is: they go all blurry and useless during this

So, i found the funniest (but rather long) shit on quora this morning. Question: Why do Brits like using excess letters (for example, ‘colour’ instead of ‘color’, ‘cheque’ instead of ‘check’, ‘analogue’ instead of ‘analog’, etc.)? Answer thread: 1/3

Cette réplique en Legos d'une machine qui pose des sections de tablier de pont 🌉 fonctionne et c'est 🤯 et la séquence est clairement décrite par les sous-titres (en anglais).
