I’ve used blanched almonds, just sprinkled on the top.

Hungry kids and husband polished the lot off. Secretly, I’ve made two more 🙂

Sorry to hear this Niki. Don’t put up with side effects. Ask the drs if there’s a way round. Perhaps a change in medication. Or something to help side effects. Good luck xx

Have you tried the garlic spray? 1 clove simmered in 1ltr water 20 mins. Leave to steep. Mash & sieve. Put concentrate in milk carton. 1 glug concentrate per litre water in sprayer.

Use 50, 50 perlite and warmed seed compost, water with tepid tap water, propagator set at 20c. Can take 3 weeks to germinate. Move seedlings into 3” pots. Keep warm until June.

Was it a germination problem or growing problem? Yes, all ok here. We started seed in spring. Planted out in june. Staked and watered well. Full flower now till frosts.
