I saw this but didn't reply - I'm not sure what would be helpful here. Unsure how to trade off.

I am mostly having a bad day. I'm second-guessing some commitments I made six months ago (college ending soon, first job starting, upcoming move away from friends to a new city). Cried last night and it helped, but there's definitely more I haven't unpacked.

Hilarious talk. Friends and I passed it around during high school programming class. Thanks for making it!

Because of code search tooling being a huge time-saver, or...?

I'm pretty sure that feature works offline - there's a local ML model trained to recognize songs. Panopticon as in "your phone is listening," but in this case it doesn't sound like it's phoning home.

The fact that the President has those nigh-unlimited pardoning abilities is one of the weirdest things about the USA. It's not clear what the upside is to him or her having that power.

I'm not sure nuclear bombs were underestimated in the short-term. Multiple governments burned massive resources while racing to them, which they wouldn't have done during wartime if they hadn't anticipated big short-term gains.
And in the long term, if Armageddon wipes us out...

A super interesting read with more detail and nuance than most other takes on TempleOS, for anyone interested in learning more:

the people developing SIP (idk about H323) in the 90s (maybe earlier?) had this idea that you'd sit down to make a call to Progressive, so you'd just type "progressive.com" into your phone. No lie. And the framework is literally all there waiting to be used. Today.

Humans call gg for game 2!!!! OpenAI Five has won a best of three vs top 99.95th percentile of Dota players. Extremely good play by the human team. Our system is ready to take on the top professionals at The International later this month.
