Think it has to be using HTTP instead of HTTPS. I really hope it’s not something as stupid as including the fields as parameters in the url instead of in the body of the request lol

Took me about a year of self learning to getting a dev job. That was while working a full time non dev job though so could be quicker if purely focused on learning

Majored in accounting, hated it so taught myself to code and am now a senior engineer at a big tech company. Have taken somewhere around 15-20 online classes and the following 6 were the most important:

Is the Tesla Cybertruck bulletproof glass a thing because car windows are broken so frequently in SF? 🤔

Your monthly interest payment is now $762 dollars, and anything over that goes to the principle (the 152k new principle).

So if you took out 120k at a 6% interest rate compounded monthly, you’d actually owe 152k upon graduation (assuming 4 year graduation, and 120k was all given at once to make the math easier)

Unsubsidized student loans accrue interest from the day they are issued, so when you start paying 4 years later, it’s the principle plus four years of interest compounded monthly.

Society likes to throw people under the bus for shitty things they did 10 years ago when we should really be applauding growth. And if you’re not embarrassed my the person you were 10 years ago, you’re not growing enough as a person.

A tax break or subsidy means you are not collecting 1b of taxes they would pay, you are not giving them 1b dollars from NYS pockets. So if their tax bill was 10b, they’d pay 9b instead.

Love the idea, although dislike that it’s limited to $5,250 a year. Would be even better if all student loan payments were tax deductible IMO.

The MTA also has 38b in outstanding debt, which the govt would need to take on. NYS currently has ~2b in debts, due to the fact that the states constitution forces the state govt to hold a vote whenever they want to borrow more money.

The MTA is a private corporation (that does rely on govt funding). Their current annual budget is 16b, with 9b coming from fares. With 5.4mm adults in NYC between 18-65, it would cost each adult ~$1,700 per year in NYC taxes per year to make the subway free.

Would be awesome if you could make payments to different accounts directly from Mint. Hate having 25 different logins for each financial service I use.
