LOL! I joke that we're selling or donating everything except the dogs, computers, and art. It's not far from the truth. There are noise rules, so they didn't start until 7 am. I'd start recording at 5 am sometimes so I didn't have to wait till 6 pm :/

Our pups are usually pretty good. Today had people coming in to buy items we are selling and the dogs weren't allowed to greet them, so they were confused as they usually get to say hi. The year a house was being built next door wasn't so fun, tho.

It's way more charming when you can see the dog. Only hearing them... not so much.

There are some things I will miss about working from home. Corgi barking during my livestreaming videos is not one of them.

Our house has a lot of shades of relatively-moody-blues. You'd think in a place like Portland people would want brighter colors -- but enough people have complimented the darkish blues that I now believe people live here *because* they like moody colors.

In our case we really liked the colors our builder chose and the only repainting we did was for my chroma-green wall. Hopefully buyers also like the colors!

Wow, interesting! You must have spent the budget intelligently. Took a window blind in yesterday for repair under warrantee and they mentioned a story of someone spending 8K on blinds and then seeing them in a trash heap on the curb a week after the house was purchased. 😳

Most of the improvements we're making are small -- cleaning up paint scuffs and getting rid of things we don't need. Amazing how even these changes make a place feel quite different.

It's inevitable: after you de-clutter and clean a bunch preparing to sell your house, your house is SO NICE TO LIVE IN that you kinda don't want to sell it. (But we're still gonna sell it.)

Donated a bunch of items to yesterday and fell in love with their awesomeness. Such a cool organization.

I'm taking a day off for decluttering and move prepping, and starting it off with with restaurant brunch was *absolutely* the right choice
