Changes to our Food Shares- As “Outside In “ look toward reopening , we are moving to new premises. So for the time being we are unable to run our food shares They will still take place at all 3 locations this week and next. See below for more info and how to stay in touch!

Reminder that while everyone is arguing over why a 60p bag of apples can't feed a family of 5, food banks have to make special boxes for people who don't have an oven/hob so can only use a microwave. And other boxes for people who have neither oven nor microwave nor kettle

Foodshare today Friday 10th July from 4pm outside the Salvation Army Hall, Gillingate . Will be some fresh veggies from Kendal Allotment friends- they’ll still have a bit of soil on outside leaves so won’t be like supermarket veggies . These are Veggies with character!

Something different again !!! Today Monday 6th July from 10am the Food Share at Outside In will operate as a Food Larder, where you will be invited to browse and select the items you need and put in your own bag. ***please bring your own bag******

Foodshare today Friday 3rd July from 4pm outside the Salvation Army Hall. As it may be a rainy afternoon please bring a waterproof bag to pop your paper carrier into ! We’ve got some fruit/ veg from our Kendal allotment holders for you to choose to add to your bag.
