Quizzically, those on the right see me as on the left—& those on the left see me as on the right. But I’m actually a Romantic who realized at some point that the world can’t afford too many Romantics—& Classical Liberalism is the best bet to give most of us access to our dreams.

There’s something eerily ironic about Saira Rao, a first-generation Indian American taking on the role of missionary trying to beat the savagery of whiteness out of her half devil half child students & instructing them in the civilizing forces of woke enlightenment.

The revolutionary idea of training young school leavers rather than importing minimum wage workers from another country. I wonder if it will catch on.

Ironic that a communist is being shafted by the voting process - as Stalin said, it doesn’t matter who votes, it only matters who COUNTS the votes.

Hi Ash....can we talk about the racist attacks on thousands of British girls. Muslim grooming gangs who gang raped, abused & tortured these girls (children) were allowed to continue in the name of ‘political correctness’....let’s have a discussion about it. It won’t kill you.

Reading that Guardian article about the rich white women paying $2500 to be told how racist they are reminded me of the thought-examinations Mao used to build his power base in the 1940s

To be fair, that thing is "ending Social Justice," so that's kinda big and cool and will have political ramifications, but contrary to what the Social Justice people think, my project here isn't political; it's epistemological and ethical, and no, those aren't politics.

This isn't science, it's value judgements taking refuge behind credentials. "Selfish" = "accepting self-interest is the human condition" "Inequality averse" = "authoritarians who seek to control all outcomes". How did this pass peer-review?

The World Socialist Web Site continues to deliver with its commentary on Woke nonsense. This isn't just a left/right issue. It's a totally different view of the world that rejects objective truth in favor of subjective experience and feelings.

Just finished Loomba's Colonialism/Postcolonialism and it's interesting to see her comment on the tensions between the Marxists and the post-structuralists like Foucault. Grand narratives don't mix well with the deconstruction of all grand narratives
