Some of y'all have heard about the fire and we truly appreciate all the love you've sent. We're alive, and that's what matters. We will recover in all other ways. Please check your smoke detectors ❤️

The high today is 66. This means hoodies are about to reenter the chat. You know what to do. Steal that big comfy hoodie from him now. So you have it for winter

Good lamps. I hate overhead lights, I love lamps...and well...yeah. Also good linens. And dishes. And towels. I grew up & learned I have very expensive taste in natural fabrics...

Briefly. And I was in the Army and then I was a Fed. I'm deeply cynical about power seekers.

I started looking at oversized sweaters and dressy boots like I will be wearing real clothes this winter & whew that's a lie.

You vote for the one you think you can keep from burning down the world. Preferably you get to vote for one that wants to build things. But having lived through Reagan, both Bushes and Clinton before Obama? You might want to vote for the one that believes in science.

The myth of the American Dream is built on eugenics. The joke that is exceptionalism? Built not only on racism but misogyny. And that freedom trope? Buddy...ask yourself why America recruits kids to defend it & then does it's best not to honor any promises to them? Go on.

I come from a state that arrests our governors, aldermen, you name it and they're crooked. Party affiliation doesn't matter overmuch either. I tweeted earlier about political commercials offering a choice between a thief and a Nazi. That's not unique to Illinois.

I'm going you another awful historic fact, it's not centrism driving America towards fascism. America is built from its roots. The genocide, slavery, and imperialism were here before the two party system! You're not ever voting for a hero. No. Not that one. Or that one.
