Yesterday I gave a 30min introduction to Next.js at our internal Web Guild meeting at . I think it went quite well. Is anybody interested in that topic in article form? Basically it's Next.js for people who have heard of it and don't exactly know what it is.

I'm amazed at what's going in this thread and especially as to what length people go to program this into their JS code (using Intersection Observers and what not), when they simply could have used CSS ()

The amount of devs ignoring Custom Elements built-in are available in every browser but WebKit is incredible, if you consider I've talked about it since 2014 and provided all features detection and polyfills needed to have those usable in production on WebKit too.

5 years later there are devs still convinced it's a Chrome only thing: it's not! Firefox has it, Opera does it, and so will Edge on Chrome. The poly for Safari only is ~1K and it weights *0* for all others + it's based on same native CE V1 API Just use it

The question is what does "simple" _really_ mean? It does not mean "familiar" or "easy for me because I already know it". 's "Simple Made Easy" talk comes to mind.

Nono I tested it many times. But I don’t care. It’s a way to groom your follower list haha

A super safe way to reduce my follower count is to just post a few tracks of the music I currently like 😁
