The end of Net Neutrality is a crushing blow to free speech and the ability of ordinary people to communicate. It can quickly choke off anything but state-sponsored news. Of course the Kremlin cares. Anyone who loves power more than justice is cheering for this.

How to curtail modern political dissent: 1) Repeal net neutrality 2) Quietly get ISPs to slow down services utilized by digital advocacy tools under auspices of combating extremism 3) Tools become unusable 4) Advocacy craters 5) Fast-lane supportive media 6) No audible dissent.

If you don't do your own taxes or use automation, now would be a good time to look back over your last couple of returns. What deductions are you actually taking? How would you be affected by the proposed legislation? Problems? Tell your Senators.

Unfair in the short term. In the longer term, this is dangerous for the future of our country. If only elites are educated, who will educate *their* children? Who will pay for schools, since tuition alone is not enough? Those who invent these tricks hate their grandchildren.

So when sea otters eat constantly they're a keystone species supporting an entire ecosystem, but when I do it I’m “hogging all the mashed potatoes” and “missing the true spirit of Thanksgiving.” 😠

Clinton left a budget surplus, and people laughed at Al Gore's promise to put a "lock box" on Social Security for the future. Now we have leaders stuffing the people's dollars into their own pockets -- in plain sight.

Bezos, Gates, and Buffet could do something about this! Or form a band, already. (Hint: Pay us to take your albums.)

6 majority and one swing (4 red, 6 blue) if you identify a district where blue doesn't vote. That could yield 7 out of 10 for minority reds.

One of the worst and most dangerous consequences of this awful period in American life is the denigration of the truth, and of institutions and people who tell it.
