As someone who grew up poor and was thrust into an upper middle class area, i can FULLY attest to this. Its such a wierd thing to experience but it actually shows you how the "game" (if thats the right word) is played.

I also experienced this mirage. But I actually think it benefited me to not think less of myself.
Even when I was making just a few hundred dollars a week I always felt like I was doing well for myself.

I wish was taught to be strong with great will power & with mind set being simple & humble (you are the best know it always - but treat other with human dignity always) yes it is difficult to balance but at least I could have started earlier - teach them good
