If you can only afford one iPad perhaps the $349 model is a vastly better value? I get your point, and I don't disagree, but I do think Apple's view is that nobody's buying a $799 or $999 iPad to be a family device. (But yes, pros have families too...)

yeah, I've written about that before, and it's on my longer list - the problem is that some of that is Apple's fault, and some of it is the fault of web developers. But I agree 100%
