The response is completely inadequate, no doubt, but it's also significant that hospitalization rate is at its lowest since March. And deaths have barely risen. But apparently these can’t be reported on until after the election because epidemiology and politics are now one.

Interesting that death peaks were progressively lower from the first virus surge to the second, and appear to be still lower with the third (🤞), while case peaks were higher, and hospitalization peaks stayed the same.
