I also attended both of these conferences last year. Organisers of both the conference made special effort to make sure that even the smallest things are perfect! I learned lot of new things and made amazing friends at both of these. Highly recommended!

I first attended JSConfEU in 2013, and got to come back in 2017 as a speaker. It’s the ultimate high bar for what a conference should be, has maintained the same atmosphere as it’s grown, and can’t wait for June to attend again for the big ten year milestone!

We haven’t done the math, but probably the most important thing is to have lots of local events instead of a few big ones (which minimizes attendee travel)
