Would it be beyond possibility for COVID-19 to ultimately be responsible for a reduction in deaths? Not just pollution, but also in reducing seasonal flu spread, etc.

Actually there will be more trash. The personal protective clothing, gloves and masks creates more plastic/paper waste. We've got to find ways to really recycle our wastes, and not just to pretend we recycle.
