Good luck to every young soccer player whose development will be negatively affected by a coach misapplying this incredibly, transparently stupid tweet.

🤔💭👨‍🔬: Go to a park on a nice day and observe. How many people do you see jogging, laborious and slow? Methodical plodding. How many of these people are "in shape"? Compare to... How many people are doing sprints? Zero? My money is on 0. Bang for buck?.. It's the latter.

You should take creatine. Your parents should take creatine. Even if you don’t lift or exercise. Why? 1. Creatine helps the body build muscle. As you age, muscle diminishes. Any boost helps. 2. Creatine may have cognitive benefits 3. It’s heavily researched and very cheap

I didn't see a single comment that was negative towards the kids. That was a strawman. and if the community that would actually know that this is garbage is supposed to just sit silently in the name of "uplift" or whatever, then we're doomed.

The "burpees are great for military" crowd might be missing a minor little detail... If you're being shot at... jumping, falling, and jumping in the same spot isn't very evasive... Nor does it allow one to go on the offensive... It's human whack-a-mole. And that's just stupid.

This is a good reason to increase protein intake and regularly resistance training when losing weight. Also, focusing on improving body composition rather than strictly weight loss can serve as a positive alternative approach to the cycles of weight loss/regain

Science has no obligation to make sense to you. And if it doesn't, you're at the mercy of someone else explaining it. It's the difference between shaking your head at a "doctor" claiming that all carbohydrates are bad and believing something that absurd bc "a doctor said it."

This headline is trash. Kealia Ohai (which is her name by the way, since you didn’t even bother to mention it) is incredible entirely on her own merit and deserves to be treated as such. Be better than this.

When someone willingly signs a lucrative long-term deal with a dead-end or rebuilding team, then 15-18 months later pulls the whole “I’m unhappy, I want to play for a contender” card - we should just call this “The Carmelo.” As in, “Kevin Love is pulling The Carmelo right now.”
