I fully expect a ministerial spokesperson to complain to me that they don’t lie about these things. I’m confident they don’t. But it could change tomorrow, and they don’t seem to get that the public simply doesn’t trust them at their word.

I note that the agency running My Health record does not seem to be distributing its media releases to the media, at least not in my case. It’s putting them on its website without an alert 🚨

And they never accidentally* break the law by forgetting to get a warrant they're legally obliged to get before accessing certain data. Such as data about data.

Many of those with "skin in the game" have access to much better hedges against risk. People look at systems far too narrowly.

Time for an unpopular opinion: footnotes are better than endnotes and yes, this is the hill I am willing to die on. Bibliography at the end and NOT in the footnotes. Citation style: Author Year.

Please tell all of academic twitter. Here's the new virtue signaling I want to see: "Traipsed to a local ice cream shop where I stopped and petted a cat for 45 minutes today. Looking forward to a spending Saturday rolling in a meadow without wifi."
