Grim, though perhaps not surprising given the chaos of Brexit. A better future is possible. We can change course.

Today I attended the Climate March in Glasgow. The have a radical climate change proposal that aims to get us to net zero greenhouse emissions by 2045. There is no planet B and we must act now.

Great to see so many people the Glasgow Youth Climate March, all raising awareness of the climate crisis. We demand immediate, strong action to stop irreversible damage. We must protect both our planet and future generations.

I am so very glad that I made the decision to stand. And I would encourage anyone, especially if you are a woman, to have a crack. The time for good people to stand and do something is here. Let’s get rid of this toxic govt. ANNOUNCEMENT ENDS.

Today is the anniversary of the Brent East by-election, when I was elected to Parliament. I do something different now (I’ll be at a conference with refugees today) but the day will always be v special for me. (2003 news: Lib Dems seize Brent East victory)

It is wrong that this new form of mass surveillance is being used on our streets without any proper regulation or oversight, especially given the clear evidence of bias and inaccuracy. I’m pleased to support ’s call for an immediate halt.
