But what if one of them is of an actor emphatically explaining something obscure in a script to another actor? - an image I try to get into every programme, with occasional success.

2019 books: I was lucky enough to get my hands on an advance copy of 's new novel "The Fire Starters." It is superb - easily the best novel I've read about (my hometown) Belfast in the last few years. Keep an eye out for it in April

As others have pointed out: we will have had 2 general elections in 2 years, and 2 Tory leadership elections in 2 years, yet a narrow referendum result from over 2 years ago is untouchable. That’s British democracy for you folks!

So Parliament doesn’t get a vote on Theresa May or her deal. The people don’t get a vote on Theresa May or her deal. But the Tories do.

This is the lead story on the BBC News website. Why is this absurd backbencher, who has never held any office, treated as a significant figure? Because he’s posh, I suppose

This is the paradox of Brexiters. They harp on about being governed by ‘foreign laws’, and then cite Article 50 as if it was Moses’ tablet of stone brought down from Mount Sinai.
