Oakland Teachers are on strike today! 1. Smaller class sizes & more classroom support 2. Pay for teachers that allow them to do the job they need 2 do. U want ur kids' teachers grading papers & making lesson plans after school- not driving Uber. Join the strike line if u can!

It was not for me, but I respect it. Absolutely loved Synedoche, NY, though. A masterpiece.

Not really. That comment refers to a specific subset of Clinton supporters, and doesn't marginalize anyone. As you know.

A. It specifically answers your question, as you know. B. I didn't say it was her only reason, as you know. C. You're a troll.

Jesus. Read it again. She refuses to support Sanders because he stayed in the race too long. She happily supported Clinton who did the same thing. What part of that is a mystery to you?

"Bernie Bros" is a noxious and insulting term used to marginalize or erase anyone who's not a white male who supports Sanders.

Seriously - I've never seen any mob as rage fueled as the Clinton supporters I watched harass and dox women and people of color who supported Sanders in '16. Had zero impact on feelings about the candidate. BECAUSE I'M NOT A CHILD.

The thing about you centrists is you've somehow been conditioned to believe that it's perfectly reasonable to be insulting and dismissive of anyone who doesn't share your tepid politics, and then you get bent out of shape when anyone gives the slightest push back.

It's an irrelevant criticism of either candidate. That's why I don't make it. As you clearly understood, I was pointing out the fact that she only holds one of them to that standard. Seriously - you might be the king of the bad faith argument.

Glad to hear it. As for staying in too long, he was simply working off the precedent she'd set herself: “We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California." Somehow, you seem to have forgiven her.

Somewhere between 80-90% voted for Clinton. Typical in any election (Except, of course, '08.) I've stuck to facts, and haven't called you names. Sadly, you've been conditioned to believe it's acceptable to lob insults at anyone who doesn't share your exact political views.

I didn't say that. I said I'm not campaigning. And if I were, I wouldn't waste a moment on you. As I said, your criteria are absurd. Suggestion - get off Twitter. It seems to be bad for your mental health.

Charlie's a great writer. I'm in awe of his mind. I'm also in awe of the inevitability that any time I engage with a centrist on Twitter, they make some inane comment about my profession. I literally have no idea what reaction it's meant to elicit.

They used everyone to trash everyone. Mainstream media did a hell of a lot more damage to the election than Russians.
