Important gotcha when working with factories in Laravel… You might be tempted to streamline your related models with a one liner. While this creates the proper data, the behavior is not what you might expect when overriding these attributes as it creates two related models. 👀

Not sure that’s the case. I think that the declaration of your structure, with the class properties definitions, allows PHP to optimize how to handle the data.

This is really interesting! Looks like using arrays is way more expensive than using named classes, for working with data. PHP has good optimisations when it knows the data structure in advance! A must read article 👇
