A bunch of people leave their blow-up house early because of some dust, but one of them stays for an extra couple of years and grows potatoes.

I just don't get that many emails! A few client-side filters, liberal use of the "unsubscribe" button, and Slack-oriented workflows means I don't feel much need for a fancy spam-blocking email client.

The worst part of being a professional designer is definitely the inability to *not* see when something isn't perfectly centered. Even by a couple of pixels. Even on real-world signage. Even when I wish I were thinking about anything else.

Instead we're hours away from a historic moment — the return of human spaceflight capabilities to US soil, and the first ever launch of humans into space by a non-government entity. If you've never watched a launch live, today's the day. They are visceral and exhilarating.

SpaceX was literally founded on the belief that a strong visual is important. Musk wanted to rekindle a desire to explore space; he thought the best way to do that was to launch a small greenhouse to Mars, robotically get a plant growing inside, and take a picture. Strong visual.

One thing Elon Musk/ have always understood is the power of a strong visual. Cool spacesuits. Cool rockets. A capsule that looks like the future.
