Ha! Well I make no guarantee that there won’t be months where that’s the case for me too.

A new sort of journal post I'm trying out. A round-up of things I've greatly enjoyed the previous month.

A drop or two. I love when branches capture raindrops like this and they glitter. It’s a little bit of magic on an overcast day.

I really need to see a nice side-by-side of the CGI models to take a good long look. I love what I'm seeing so far though.

And I think some of that is totally fair and understandable. It's more when the attitude is "this is CLEARLY not Star Wars!" and then you start getting into it and you realize that definition can vary wildly from person to person. lol.

I'm sorry, but not nominating "Fetch The Bolt Cutters" for album of the year proves how utterly meaningless the Grammys are to anyone who loves music. There are SOME great picks on here. But FTBC kicks all their asses.

Star Wars die-hards seem to have this tiny zone between "is not Star Wars" and "is too close to what we've seen before" that is ill-defined and ridiculously subjective. lol.

The biggest hurdle, for me, was just getting used to a new Han Solo. Once I did that, I just had fun with it. I enjoyed how it joined up with other non-movie stuff. But I tend to not be concerned about "fan service" because that line is blurry at best.

It's , and to celebrate Doctor Who's 57th Anniversary I wrote about my personal discovery of Doctor Who and a little of what it's meant to me all these years.

Huh. the concept is neat but I can't say I care for this artwork. It feels a little too silly. I thought Solo was great, btw.

Like Game of Thrones it takes a few episodes to find your feet. You're kind of thrown into a complex world. But it's WELL worth it.

This book is beautifully insane. I cannot fathom how much this will be. See the full thread.

Six seasons is a fantastic run these days. I'll be sorry to see the show go and I know there's a ton more material to cover in the books. But I'm happy we'll get a proper ending.

Hit the Criterion half off sale at B&N a second, and last, time. Also found this very intriguing Kate Bush bookazine from Mojo.
