"A hostile regime attacked our election on Donald Trump's behalf. The president knew about it, he encouraged it, he welcomed it, he lied about it, and then he tried to cover it up with more lies. All of that is fact." New Pod, No Exoneration:

Yes. All of this. People have lost their minds.

But hey, the important thing to focus on is how Sunday was the “best day” of Trump’s presidency, and how the media needs to do some soul-searching for bringing to light all those facts about presidential misconduct and potential criminality. What an embarrassment.

And of course, Trump had a reason to obstruct the investigation even if he wasn’t covering up a conspiracy related to the election hacking: he didn’t want Mueller to discover other crimes, like multiple campaign felonies related to hush money payments.

Since 2011, the Virginia GOP has used its control of the General Assembly to undermine democracy by racially gerrymandering maps and making it difficult to vote. The lines have been drawn, and it’s official: we’re going to in Virginia! Join us.

True, but is hardly “squishy”. It’s a solid and thought-out proposal, and unlike , it include specifics about how it’d be paid for (whether those specifics are accurate or not is a different discussion, of course).

That said, single-payer remains more popular than the GOP's health care plans, which gets back to the political lunacy of pushing for a lawsuit that would blow up the system a few months before the 2020 election.

Extremely revealing Quinnipiac poll. Support for single-payer is falling, but support for the squishy Dem plan -- Medicare buy-in -- is high. My pet theory is that many people assumed "Medicare for All" meant the latter, anyway.

I can’t believe there haven’t been any leaks about the Mueller report yet.

I highly recommend listening to today’s episode of “The Daily,” which digs into Barr’s bizarre reasoning on his decision not to charge obstruction.

The media handwringing about coverage of Russiagate is ridiculous. The notion that Trump and Republicans are "going on offense" now is also absurd. The real story is that overall, there has *not* been overreach, by either the media or Dems. My piece:

One thing people could do is read the story: “He said we [as Democrats] shouldn’t be afraid of big, bold ideas—but also need to think in the nitty-gritty about how those big, bold ideas will work and how you pay for them,” said one person in the room.

Still elected with Putin’s help, not cleared on obstruction, lied about Moscow dealings, paid election eve hush $$ to a porn star. Oh, and trying to eliminate pre-x conditions, trade war killing farmers, tax cuts for rich, accelerating destruction of planet. Plenty to work with.

The media's biggest failure in Russiagate is letting Trump get away with pretending to be exonerated by a four-page letter from Trump's own AG that quotes Mueller saying his report "does not exonerate him."
