This doesn't mean to say we can't live rich, fulfilling post-growth lives; we absolutely can. But you should be very concerned that those claiming growth can persist can't answer the most basic, pressing questions about resource consumption.

Solutions become available once people accept, living differently "than we currently do". Difficult in a democracy to ask people to lower their business as usual, and comfort level expectations.
