Yeah, too many spinning plates, basically. And now a game every 3-4 days until January, so not much time to work on things.

Yes, it’s almost like he gets praised when they win and critiqued when they lose. What hypocrites!

Do you ever do that thing when you’re writing, where you force yourself not to go for a piss until you’ve finished the article? Really focuses the mind. Occasionally backfires spectacularly

This is superb, and not just because of its inspired and multiple deployments of the word “piss”

Yeah, and said they needed a rest, which is fair enough. Personally, I’d rather have asked why he took off Kane when a) you know you’ll have set pieces to defend and b) you need someone who can keep the ball high up the pitch. But after all this, there wasn’t time.

It was, I think, a disproportionate response. For the record, I don’t think Trippier and Alderweireld would necessarily have made a big difference. But it’s a fair question to ask

There was that. But he also said “when I pick an XI you have to respect that, because I am the manager”

55-85 minutes, good. Partly because Inter were a mess. The rest of it, a shambles

Pochettino loses his cool in the press conference, demands more “respect”. Even more alarmingly, he thinks Spurs were good tonight.
