I was up there a few weeks ago and it was 30 mins FOC in the green short stay. If the punter don’t wanna pay the £7 then it’s “Shanks’s”. They’ve barely paid a score for their flights. What do they expect?

How about 1% discount for every year I’ve been a season ticket holder? Please include PPV in that. That would be rewarding loyalty.

Not if it’s salary capped like the NFL. You’d still often get the big clubs dominate but that would down to getting great player/s in and great coaching. NFL clubs let other players go because of the cap.

Salary cap, no relegation, minimum facility requirements, uniform squad access, expansion teams by owners negotiations? It works for the NFL.

Are TV deals currently dropping, with broadcasters asking for more games for the same or less money? If so then businesses will going looking for other revenues. It’s the worldwide audience that’ll drive this, the 60k in the stadium just an added bonus.

I’ve noticed the same with NFL games. Perhaps it’s just a mind set for people used to attending matches.

I absolutely agree but Tim is right about the stadium crowd not getting treated correctly with VAR.

How many of those 7,000 trucks will have RoI plates or will it not be as economic to run their produce by road through our country to the rest of the EU instead of shipping?

What would any other business do if their income plummeted? Cut costs. PL teams will have to do the same. If players leave then so be it. The Club must come before them. Player contracts should have had more bonus clauses.

Just like most other businesses if football’s income starts to fall then the clubs will have to cut costs. Mostly that means player salaries. Watch SK invest if a European league comes along and it looks like The Arsenal aren’t going to be in it.

Never voted Tory, never will but I wanted a socialist government to rebuild the UK from outside of the EU. Labour, you’ve got 51 months to get the people back onside.

Refereeing has always been subjective but VAR allows him/her to have a better chance of a correct decision. The stadium crowd should see what the ref sees but the game is being tailored for the TV audience.

I’ll take the delay of the referee going to a monitor because it must always be the ref that makes the decision, never the VAR booth. There’s been far too many incorrect decisions in the past. That spoils the spectacle.

Labour were never dead in the water, they just didn’t understand that enough people in the UK wanted to leave the EU. Now we have we can concentrate on trying to get a decent government.
